Top 3 Social Media Marketing Tools To Use In 2018

Now that we’re well into the new year, you may be looking for some help when it comes to social media marketing. To be fair, there are plenty of ways the average business owner can get started. Things like content creation and promotion via organic and paid channels should be high on your list if you’re at a loss for where to start. But equally important are the social media tools your business uses as a part of its marketing stack.

These tools are designed not only as fun ways to maximize your online business idea but also to provide you with more accurate information and solve real marketing problems that your business deals with on a daily basis. With that being said, we’re going to break down some of the most powerful social media marketing tools that your business should be taking advantage of in 2018.

  1. Typito

When it comes to digital media marketing, you simply can’t underestimate the power of video marketing. No matter what social media platform your particular audience prefers, your best bet is to offer some form of video content, provided you can afford it.

But that’s the problem, isn’t it? For those of us who aren’t particularly knowledgeable when it comes to video marketing, the process of actually creating high-quality video content can seem pretty intimidating. That’s why right off the bat, we’re going to start with the Free video creation tool Typito.

The easiest way to think of Typito is that it’s just Canva for video. But make no mistake, this platform delivers some pretty incredible utility when it comes to the content creation process. One of the best aspects of working within Typito is how simple it all feels. Once you’ve uploaded your video clips and images to the platform, you can quickly and easily add any icons, text or music you like.

Typito’s simple user interface means that even the least tech-savvy among us can take advantage of it. Changing fonts, text styles, and moving it all around is intuitive and feels natural. As if that wasn’t enough, you can convert your videos into a variety of different styles, including:

  • Landscape Video
  • Square Video
  • Letterbox Video
  • Vertical Video

Typito makes creating unique content for your social media channels as straightforward as possible, which means you can get back to focusing on the important part: figuring out what your marketing strategy is going to look like.

  1. PixelMe

PixelMe may not be free, but the features it offers are more than enough to justify its $10/month price tag. At its core, PixelMe is a way for businesses to extend the reach of their target audience marketing efforts. It’s a URL shortener that lets you include a retargeting pixel in a link.

Why does this matter? Well, when people click on your PixelMe links, you’ll gain the ability to retarget them with ads on all your favorite social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).

Confused? Alright, let’s imagine a scenario where you’re trying to retarget them with ads on Facebook. For Facebook ads, you’d add the Facebook Pixel ID to your PixelMe account. Once you’ve done that, you just need to copy and paste your link into PixelMe, and it’ll generate a shortened link for you. After that, feel free to start sharing that link.

When enough people have clicked on that link, you’ll be able to build a custom audience in the ad platforms and retarget them with a highly relevant ad. The benefits of this are pretty obvious. The more relevant the ad, the more likely your audience is to engage with you. More specifically, consistently increasing your conversion rate with marketing campaigns relies heavily on your ability to show your audience relevant ads.

  1. Adioma

At $39/month, Adioma is easily the most expensive social media marketing tool on our list. But make no mistake, it’s worth finding room in the budget. If you’re not familiar with infographics, they’re essentially a visual representation of data that you or your team have collected.

While they may sound simple, the truth is that a well-designed infographic can be more than educational — it can be truly engaging. There’s just one problem. If you don’t know anything about graphic design, you’re basically out of options.

That’s where Adioma comes in. Adioma was built as the answer to a single question: how can the average person create a compelling infographic, quickly and easily? To build an infographic with Adioma, all you need to do is type the text you want to see.

Seriously, that’s it. Adioma does all the heavy lifting by suggesting relevant icons, instantly adapting the design to the amount of text you have, as well as a variety of bells and whistles that make the Adioma experience a joy for anyone using it. You can even post all of your text at once, and Adioma will instantly generate you an infographic.

Which social media marketing tool was the most useful to you and your business in 2017?
